Dare Power Park is a 30 acre park managed by Alabama Power. It is located at 4633 Young’s Ferry Rd, Jacksons’ Gap, AL 36861
The park has a year-round boat ramp, picnic areas, pavilions, fishing piers, a huge playground that was added in 2020, a sandy beach for swimming, public bathrooms, an amphitheater and charcoal grills. The park is open from 9 AM to 8 PM and you can access it either by vessel or by vehicle. Admission to the park is free. Its a great area to enjoy the beach, go fishing or to stop by boat to let the kids burn off some energy at the playground. You can reserve pavilions by calling park office at 256-825-8386.
