Lake Martin 4th of July Boat Parade

The Russell Marine 4th of July boat parade is my FAVORITE event on Lake Martin every year!  The bomber plane overhead and more boats than you can count head to Kowaliga before 10 am to get a glimpse of all the decorated boats.  The historic bomber overhead!    This year following the Veterans was “3 Wishes”, a 1930 Chris Craft 26′ Deluxe Runabout and several vintage wooden boats.  If you weren’t able to make the parade, here is a glimpse of the red, white and blue festivities!  Happy Birthday America!
